A free look back at the early YGGDRASIL drum experiments: ten kicks and ten snares, exported as individual WAV files.

These are the original early designs, kept separate from the newer Heavy Drum Hits selection. Use them for rough textures, layering, resampling or experimentation. This is an archive release, not an expanded version of the current drum bank.

• Nominal C roots and sampler root metadata where meaningful

• Recorded effect tails and intentional pitch movement preserved

Use in your DAW

Drag the WAV files into a sampler or audio track in a DAW that supports this format. No YGGDRASIL installation is required. These downloads contain WAV audio samples, not synth presets.

These are single-note recordings and drum one-shots, not pre-cut loops. Tempo-synced movement and effects were rendered at 140 BPM. Nominal root labels retain the sound's programmed pitch sweeps, vibrato and harmonic layers. Unpitched or inharmonic material uses a C-trigger label rather than a claimed fixed fundamental.
