Grime Arsenal

Cold melodies. Heavy intent.

Build a grime palette with sharp contrast: square bass weight, spreading reeses, icy plucks, FM bells, pulse sirens, vowel growls, orchestral-style stabs and dark organs. Grime Arsenal gives you 40 original single-note recordings across eight sound families.

Write your own riffs, chop stabs into a sequence or layer a bell over a bass pattern. The sounds draw on familiar grime ingredients while remaining original designs. These are playable samples, not artist-endorsed recreations or finished musical loops.

What is included

  • 40 individual grime WAV samples
  • Eight families, with five sounds in each
  • Bass, melodic and stab voices; nominal C roots documented

Audio specification

  • 48 kHz / 24-bit stereo WAV audio
  • Nominal C roots and sampler root metadata where meaningful
  • Peak-normalized to -1 dBFS
  • Recorded effect tails and intentional pitch movement preserved
  • A sample catalogue with tuning and duration details

Use in your DAW

Drag the WAV files into a sampler or audio track in a DAW that supports this format. No YGGDRASIL installation is required. These downloads contain WAV audio samples, not synth presets.

These are single-note recordings and drum one-shots, not pre-cut loops. Tempo-synced movement and effects were rendered at 140 BPM. Nominal root labels retain the sound's programmed pitch sweeps, vibrato and harmonic layers. Unpitched or inharmonic material uses a C-trigger label rather than a claimed fixed fundamental.
