Manipulated Sounds FRACTURE is a creative multi-effects plugin that separates incoming audio into three processing layers: Attack, Body and Texture. Process each layer differently, build rhythmic patterns and control their balance using the interactive Fracture Field.

Add bite to drum transients, shift the character of a bassline or turn a familiar loop into a more fractured, animated sound. Use it on individual tracks, loops and grouped audio inside your DAW.

Three layers. Different treatment.

• Attack: Shape the transient component with drive, transient processing, delay and filtering.
• Body: Process the sustained, lower-frequency component with tonal EQ, pitch shifting, chorus and reverb.
• Texture: Transform the remaining higher-frequency detail with bit-depth and sample-rate reduction, coloured noise, gating and freeze-style feedback.

Control the Fracture Field

Move through the two-dimensional Fracture Field to change the balance between the three layers. Two LFOs introduce movement, while envelope-following controls let the processing respond to the incoming audio.

Build rhythmic variations

Each layer has its own 16-step on/off sequence. Create gaps, accents and changing combinations across Attack, Body and Texture, with sequencing linked to your DAW’s tempo and transport.

Find a new direction with BREAK IT

Use BREAK IT to randomise processing settings and sequencer patterns. Adjust the randomisation amount to control how far the settings change, then use UNDO to return to the state before your last randomisation.

FRACTURE’s Attack, Body and Texture layers are created through transient and frequency-based processing. They are not isolated vocal, drum or instrument stems.
